Digital Forensics Manager (Technical Lead - Dorset)

Location: Ferndown Police Station (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Starting at at £38,856 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £43,254 per annum

The Force welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need. The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.

The Role

An exciting opportunity is now available for DFU Manager Technical Leads in each of the DFU Teams across the South West.

This new role will support the teams and existing DFU Managers acting as the Technical Leads in the department.

They will lead on the implementation and management of accreditation within the team whilst also acting as the senior technical lead for digital forensic investigations.

These new posts are an exciting opportunity for highly technical and experienced digital forensic experts to progress within their role.

The principal responsibility is to manage the Data Forensic Team in the examination of electronic devices, including computers and mobile devices, in all levels of crime investigation across the South West Forces.
