Nursing Assistant Required – Chichester - Up to £13.00 per hour


We are currently looking for a Nursing Assistant for one of our local healthcare providers to join their friendly team.

The home that you’ll be working in:
⦁ Located in Chichester, it is a beautiful and majestic nursing home, set in expansive landscaped gardens
⦁ A peaceful home with up to 32 residents
⦁ The home specialises in dementia care, end of life and respite breaks.

Your day to day:
⦁ Personal care, such as assisting residents to get changed
⦁ Intimate care
⦁ Support with everyday tasks, such as supporting with cooking
⦁ Administrating medication
⦁ working closely with nurses on site
⦁ daily observations, ie blood pressure, skin care, wound care
⦁ Support with fun activities, such as bingo, gardening
⦁ Completing daily logs
⦁ PEG feeding

The ideal person will be:
⦁ Caring Nature
⦁ Level 3 in health and social care or currently completing
⦁ Senior care assistant experience or nursing experience
⦁ clinical interest as this will be a main responsibility of the role.
⦁ An understanding of the principles of Person-Centered Care, Dementia and End of Life
⦁ Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
⦁ A flexible approach to working hours
