Salary:
£36,500 - £44,200/annum

HGV Technician, Stoke-On-Trent – £36,500 - £44,200 a year, All Overtime at 1.5 hourly rate + MOT Bonus

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM/ 12:00PM- 10:30PM alternate, plus alternate Saturdays 7:00- 1:00pm (overtime)

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruiting of an experienced HGV Technician to join an established truck dealership based in Stoke-On-Trent. You will have experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGV/LCV and hold a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification..

In return you will receive MOT Bonus, 30 days holiday including bank holidays, death in service, discount reward scheme, company pension and work wear will be provided.

The Role:

• You will ensure the most efficient and highest possible standard of mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of customer vehicles and related ancillary equipment

• Responsibility for the safety of the working environment and all colleagues/persons within it

• Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets

• Undertake comprehensive and preventative maintenance and repair standards

• Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms

• Dealing professionally and proficiently with all enquiries and completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner

• Undertake diagnostic analysis where appropriate

The Person:

• Experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGV/LCV

• City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 is essential

• Have practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives

• Safety aware and committed to a right first-time ethos

• Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the customer

• Enthusiastic, with the ability to work on your own initiative, remaining focused and consistent and a ‘can do’ attitude

• Demonstrates commercial awareness and has a good understanding and experience of a busy workshop operating environment

• HGV Class 1 licence preferred but not essential

Hours:
