LEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and reliable Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements or a longer-term opportunity, we have a range of roles available to suit your experience and availability.

The Successful SEND Learning Support Assistant Will:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a primary school or SEND setting.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Have experience supporting children with SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties or additional communication needs.
• Be patient, adaptable and confident supporting pupils with a range of individual learning needs.

The Role Will Involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• Supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
• Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
• Adapting to different school settings, routines and individual pupil requirements.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
