Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school based in London that is looking for a confident and supportive Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with students and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day work with an ASAP start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students within the classroom, including pupils with SEND, while working alongside teaching staff to encourage engagement, manage behaviour and provide additional support where required.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience supporting students with SEND
• Experience within a secondary school is desirable
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A flexible and adaptable approach
