Winner Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic  SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Rugby area on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant NVQ qualification and have experience working within a primary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, patient and committed Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils

• Support pupils with their learning, development and emotional wellbeing

• Assist pupils with a range of additional needs where required

• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment

• Work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress

• Assist with classroom preparation and learning activities

• Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupils' confidence and independence

• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing

• Support pupils with SEND and adapt activities to meet individual needs

• Contribute to safeguarding and the wider welfare of pupils

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant NVQ qualification

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting

• A genuine passion for working with children

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, nurturing and supportive approach

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Experience supporting children with SEND would be advantageous

• A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children
