If you enjoy helping children build confidence in reading, writing and maths and love finding creative ways to make learning engaging, 1-1 tuition could be the role you're looking for.

At Let’s Educate, we work with pupils who need additional support to access education, providing face-to-face catch-up and personalised tuition in home, community and school settings.

You'll have the freedom to plan and deliver lessons around the UK National Curriculum, whilst adapting your approach to suit the individual child you're working with.

The Role

You'll deliver engaging, personalised lessons that help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and develop strong foundations in their education.

Whether a child needs support with phonics, literacy, numeracy, catching up with missed learning or simply needs a different approach to education, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

With flexible hours generally available between 9am and 5pm, this role can fit around your existing commitments while providing a regular and rewarding source of income.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1-1 tuition, with a focus on phonics, literacy and numeracy.
• Plan and adapt lessons around each pupil's individual needs and current curriculum.
• Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt your teaching to support positive outcomes.
• Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate session records.

We're Looking For

• QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Good knowledge of primary phonics, literacy and numeracy.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs is desirable.
• A patient, creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Reliable, passionate and confident working independently.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Availability during term time.

What We Offer
