KPI Education is recruiting a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wolverhampton. You'll gain valuable insight into school life, working alongside experienced education professionals to help students overcome barriers, engage with their learning and develop greater independence. Your role in the schoolAs part of the school's wider support team, you'll provide tailored assistance to students with a range of additional needs, helping them participate in lessons and make the most of their education. Your responsibilities will include:
Students may have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and dyslexia. What will you bring to the team?We're looking for graduates who understand that supporting young people requires more than academic ability. Your approach, communication skills and willingness to learn will be just as important. Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential. Experience through tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, coaching or similar activities would be beneficial. However, we're also interested in graduates who can demonstrate the compassion, commitment and enthusiasm needed to support students effectively.
