Job Description: Production Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production and assembly of products, including candles, reed diffusers, chocolates, and skincare items.
• Measure, mix, pour, and prepare materials in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.
• Operate production equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Package and label finished skincare products and other goods ready for storage or dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or defects to supervisors.
• Support different production areas and undertake a variety of tasks as required.
• Ensure workstations are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with stock handling, replenishment of raw materials, and movement of finished goods within the production area.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow production procedures and work instructions accurately.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, food production, cosmetics, or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.

PPE Needed: 

• High Viz and Safety Boots 

Pay and Annual Leave:

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay
• 28 days annual leave (2 weeks notice needed to book a holiday)

Hours of work:

4 on 4 off OR Monday - Friday roles available
