Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day

Do you have experience supporting pupils in Year 6 and preparing them for the transition to secondary school?

Are you confident supporting small groups and ideally leading targeted interventions?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Salford, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is looking for a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support and contribute positively to the learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Year 6 Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Year 6 Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the classroom and with their learning, with the opportunity to lead targeted interventions where appropriate.

The successful Year 6 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience leading interventions is highly desirable
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, adaptable and supportive approach
