Due to changes within the finance department, they are now seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.

What will the temporary Finance Assistant role involve?

• Supporting the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations, including transactional processing and reconciliations
• Managing supplier and customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of queries
• Assisting with cash flow management, banking, and month-end tasks to underpin financial stability
• Maintaining up-to-date financial records adhering to compliance and procedural standards
• Contributing to process improvements and supporting audit readiness, ensuring smooth financial operations at all times

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Previous experience working in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a busy environment
• Strong understanding of key financial processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and month-end close
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to problem-solving and customer service
