Job Title: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)

Salary: £110 - £135 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Scunthorpe who are looking to appoint an experienced HLTA. The school provides support for pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with SEND, and is looking for a committed HLTA who can help pupils engage with their learning and reach their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a HLTA on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful HLTA will provide a mix of KS1 and KS2 classroom cover, deliver planned learning activities and provide additional support to children with SEND, adapting their approach to meet individual needs.

The successful HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant Level 3 qualification
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Confidence providing classroom cover across KS1 and KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• An adaptable, patient and positive approach
