A very exciting position has become available as Executive Director of Sales for an award-winning luxury resort with an expanding hospitality group, to be based at head office in Kuala Lumpur.

This position is ear-marked to evolve as the expansion unfolds & requires an accomplished luxury hospitality sales leader with extensive knowledge of international leisure, luxury travel trade & boutique MICE segments, established industry relationships & proven experience leading high-performing Sales & Revenue teams.

As Executive Director of Sales you'll be responsible foroverall commercial direction for the resort, leading the annual commercial planning process, Sales & Revenue strategies ensuring that the team delivers against agreed revenue, market share, profitability & brand-positioning objectives.

Requirements:

• Relevant experiences across Asia with Malaysian location experience being highly beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales & commercial experience within luxury hotels, resorts or internationally recognised hospitality brands.
• Minimum of five years in a senior Sales leadership position, preferably as Director of Sales, Director of Sales & Marketing, Executive Director of Sales or in a cluster or regional capacity.
• Proven experience leading & developing a sizeable, multi-level Sales team.
• Strong international luxury leisure & travel trade, MICE, group, incentive, event & meeting-facility sales. Experience with hotel-managed villas, residences or other extended accommodation inventory would be advantageous.
• Excellent command of written & spoken English
