TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in North Birmingham looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will primarily support children aged 2–3, helping with their learning, development and daily routines in a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience working with 2–3-year-olds
• Be comfortable providing personal care, including toileting, nappy changing and supporting hygiene routines
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Support learning and development through play-based activities
• Encourage children's communication, social and emotional development
• Support children during mealtimes, play and daily nursery routines
• Be caring, patient and attentive to individual needs
• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety procedures
