G4S are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team in Rochester, working in at a local Power Station!

As an officer at Grain Power Station you will become an integral part of the team, clear communication and good IT skills are required to be successful, you will help support the site Supervisor and action any requests from the site team.

Contract Information:
Hours - 42 hours a week
Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, nights only. Must also be happy to support with day shifts as per site requirements.
Shift Hours - 6pm to 6am
Pay Rate - £13.45 per hour
SIA Licences - Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence required

You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle as the site is not accessible via public transport.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

- External and Internal patrols using the site patrol vehicle
- Send out and conduct Inductions
- Reply and send Emails
- Use CCTV system
- Use Weighbridge for skip lorries and tanker lorries
- Use of telephone and radio to deal with enquires
- Clear handover to the next team coming onto shift

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
