Salary: £90 - £130 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with SEND settings across Worcestershire, supporting children who require additional help with their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and other additional needs. Our settings provide a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to engage positively with their education and develop their confidence.

TeacherActive are looking to take on SEND Teaching Assistants on a full-time, long-term basis, aswell as those who are looking for short term day-to-day from September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours while assisting teaching staff with learning, behaviour management and engagement throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people   needs
• Experience supporting children with autism or challenging behavior 
• Confidence working within a classroom environment
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
