We’re currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a progressive and aspirational primary school in M8 on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, starting in September.

You’ll be joining a dynamic, child-centred school with a strong focus on ambition, creativity and positive relationships. The school encourages pupils to develop a love of learning, build resilience and celebrate their individual strengths in a stimulating and supportive environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher, ECT or someone looking for their next exciting school-based role to become part of a collaborative team that is committed to helping every pupil flourish.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, purposeful lessons that inspire pupils and encourage a love of learning

  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence and independence

  • Differentiating teaching and adapting resources to meet a wide range of learning needs

  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing appropriate challenge and intervention

  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the school team

  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations for all pupils

  • Building strong, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

  • Taking an active role in the wider school community and enrichment opportunities

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills

  • A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching

  • A genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their potential

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
