TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding mainstream Primary School based in Alfreton, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school offers a positive and supportive environment with high expectations for pupils, alongside dedicated PPA time to support effective planning and preparation.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until July 2027. The successful Primary Teacher will teach a Year 2 class every Monday and Tuesday, taking responsibility for planning, delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining strong classroom management.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 / KS1 and the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Confidence with planning, assessment and full teacher responsibilities
• A positive, reliable and adaptable approach
