TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist educational setting in Frome that provides highly personalised education for students with autism and complex learning needs. The school offers a safe, nurturing and structured environment where respect, resilience and teamwork help young people develop their confidence, independence and skills for the future.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Qualified Teacher on a temporary basis from September. The successful Qualified Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs, working alongside teaching assistants and the wider staff team to promote academic progress, emotional well-being and positive outcomes.

The successful Qualified Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching children or young people with autism, SEND and/or complex learning needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan, adapt and deliver engaging lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting students
