Are you a recent graduate looking to work within a school or education setting? Are you considering a future career in education or a teacher training qualification but unsure how to start on this path? 

We are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant  for a large 11-16 Secondary School in the Middlesbrough area, to work on a full-time, long-term basis, for the new academic year! 

Your role & responsibilities: 

● Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs 

● Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support 

● Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey 

● Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions 

Non-negotiables: 

● Recent university degree of 2:2 classification or above 

● Good Numeracy and Literacy skills 

● Clear desire to work with children and young people 

● Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential 

● Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
