Are you a recent graduate looking to work within a school or education setting? Are you considering a future career in education or a teacher training qualification but unsure how to start on this path? We are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant for a large 11-16 Secondary School in the Middlesbrough area, to work on a full-time, long-term basis, for the new academic year! Your role & responsibilities: ● Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs ● Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support ● Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey ● Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions Non-negotiables: ● Recent university degree of 2:2 classification or above ● Good Numeracy and Literacy skills ● Clear desire to work with children and young people ● Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential ● Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school
