Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter/Operator to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Wednesbury area.

THE ROLE

. Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines.
. Produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
. Handle, package, and label finished components to prevent damage and ensure traceability.
. Complete routine daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance checks.
. Identify and report machine faults or production issues to senior staff promptly.
. Accurately complete production paperwork and quality documentation.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience setting and operating tube laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and inspection standards.
• Competent in carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic fault identification.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to produce work to tight tolerances.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Monday to Friday

14:00pm - 22:00pm

PAY RATE

£14.00ph - £15.50ph
