Industrial Cleaner - Burscough

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to join our well-established client based in Burscough.

This position would suit candidates with experience as a Domestic Cleaner, Commercial Cleaner, or Housekeeping Assistant looking for a stable and rewarding role.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00am to 6:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an Industrial Cleaner, you will work:

• Cleaning and sanitising industrial areas, including warehouse floors, machinery, and equipment
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers
• Removing waste and disposing of materials safely and correctly
• Ensuring walkways and working areas are kept clear and hazard-free
• Carrying out deep cleaning tasks as required
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting low stock levels
• Following all health and safety regulations at all times
• Using cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidelines
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Industrial Cleaner, you will need:

• Basic spoken and written English
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

• Previous industrial cleaning experience would be advantageous
• Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment would be beneficial
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH, would be desirable

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
