Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Milk Education is recruiting passionate KS1 Teachers to work across a number of supportive Primary schools in Halifax from September. Our partner schools are seeking teachers who can create engaging learning environments and support children through the important early stages of their education.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within welcoming and inclusive school communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Differentiate lessons to support pupils of all abilities.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Build effective relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to support learning.
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and curiosity.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding teaching.
  • Committed to helping every child succeed.
  • ECTs are welcome to apply.
