The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in the Redditch area that specialises in high-quality stainless steel fabrication. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced TIG Welder to their skilled workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants a secure, permanent role with a respected employer.

The Role

You'll be responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel to a high cosmetic standard
• Working from engineering drawings and job specifications
• Producing accurate, high-quality welds on thin and medium gauge materials
• Carrying out basic fabrication and assembly where required
• Inspecting your own work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working closely with the production team to meet delivery deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience TIG welding stainless steel
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
• Previous fabrication experience would be advantageous
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
