Commercial Director – Hotels, United Arab Emirates

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Director of Business Development or Commercial Director to join a prestigious luxury beachfront resort in the UAE.

We are seeking a commercially astute hospitality leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth within luxury hotels or resorts. This role requires strong relationships across luxury travel consortia, corporate, leisure and MICE markets, together with a strategic approach to sales, marketing, revenue and distribution.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the resort's commercial strategy, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Distribution and Loyalty to maximise performance, strengthen market positioning and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the resort's commercial strategy across corporate, leisure, MICE and luxury travel segments.
• Build and nurture relationships with leading luxury travel consortia, high-end travel advisors and premium agency networks.
• Grow key accounts across the GCC, luxury travel, DMCs and high-net-worth clientele.
• Represent the resort at international luxury travel events and trade exhibitions.
• Partner with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, forecasting and distribution strategies.
• Drive impactful marketing initiatives that enhance brand positioning and commercial performance.
• Maximise direct bookings, distribution channels and loyalty programme engagement.
• Deliver insightful commercial reporting, market analysis and business planning.

About You

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong experience in the GCC region, if not the UAE
• Strong background across sales, revenue management, marketing and distribution.
• Established network within luxury travel consortia and premium travel agencies.
• Demonstrated success in delivering ambitious revenue targets and commercial growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within an international 5* hospitality brand is highly desirable.

Salary Package:

AED38-48k pm plus full family status and schooling assistance offered
