Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant – The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups.
• Work with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to support strategies.
• Develop practical experience relevant to Educational Psychology and SEN.

Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• A 1st Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a Russell Group university.
• Strong GCSE and A-Level results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in supporting young people.
• A proactive, resilient and professional attitude.

Previous experience working with young people, SEN, tutoring, mentoring, youth work or coaching is desirable but not essential.
