Business Development Manager – Nottingham – up to £40,000

I’m working with one of my favourite craft beer businesses who are recognised for their high-quality beers, cool brand presence and loyal customer following. This role will cover the East Midlands area with a focus on major cities like Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough. You will be in charge of getting their beers into great pubs, bars and restaurants within the on-trade space, as well as retail spots with their canned range.

The Business Development Manager responsibilities are:

• Maintain and develop an existing customer base
• Good understanding of the on and off-trade sector 
• Find and win new customers, then nurture them
• Achieve targets set on key driver brands for the business
• Total customer care and strong business relationships
• Disciplined approach to journey planning
• Selling of the company, promotions, portfolio and all services
• Work closely with all suppliers and brand ambassadors
• Broaden the range of supply to every customer

The ideal Business Development Manager qualities:

• Love of beer and sales
• Not afraid to knock on doors and win business
• Commercial ability
• Experience in the ON-trade – someone with a network
• Good knowledge of the drinks industry
• Self-motivated, passionate about success, pro-active and hungry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
