The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well‑established Nantwich‑based business to recruit a Management Accountant for a key, high‑visibility role within the structure. This position offers broad financial responsibility, close collaboration with Head Office in Spain, and genuine influence across the business.

It’s ideal for an experienced industry accountant who enjoys being close to the detail while also providing clear, valuable insight to support performance and decision‑making.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of core management accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and timely insight for stakeholders both locally and overseas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the month‑end close and reporting pack for Head Office in Spain
• Producing monthly P&L with variance analysis and commentary
• Balance sheet control, including reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals
• Fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and disposals
• Sales analysis, reconciliations, and backlog reporting
• Intercompany reconciliations and issue resolution
• Inventory monitoring, reconciliation, and control
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Coordinating payroll via an external provider
• Liaising with pension providers and external auditors
• Supporting ad‑hoc finance and reporting requirements

About You

• AAT Level 4 qualified
• Proven experience in industry accounting
• Comfortable taking responsibility for end‑to‑end reporting and controls
• SAP experience is essential
• Strong technical grounding in VAT and management accounting
• Proactive, detail‑focused, and confident working with minimal supervision
