Graduate Geography Unqualified Teacher

Full-time | Long-term | Immediate or September start
Salary: £28,000+

This is an opportunity for a high-potential Geography graduate to step directly into a full teaching role at a top-performing secondary school in North West London. If you’re serious about teaching and want to develop quickly in a structured, high-achieving environment, this role offers the perfect platform.

What if your Geography degree could do more than sit on a CV?

What if you could take your knowledge of the world and shape how the next generation understands it?

And what if you could do it in a school where expectations are high, behaviour is excellent, and outcomes speak for themselves?

About the School

This is a school defined by clarity, consistency, and results. With GCSE outcomes comfortably above national averages and a reputation for calm, focused classrooms, it provides an environment where teachers can truly focus on teaching.

The Humanities faculty is a strength of the school—valued, well-led, and academically ambitious. Geography, in particular, is taught with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, global awareness, and analytical skill, preparing students to engage with the world beyond the classroom.

Staff here benefit from a culture that is disciplined but supportive, where professional growth is taken seriously and progression into teacher training is a clear and achievable next step.

The Role

As a Graduate Geography Unqualified Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, delivering structured and engaging lessons
  • Help students understand complex global issues—from climate systems to urban development
  • Plan lessons that promote discussion, curiosity, and independent thinking
  • Track progress and ensure students are consistently moving towards strong outcomes
  • Contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom environment
  • Develop rapidly with the goal of entering formal teacher training

This role places you at the centre of the classroom—leading learning, building authority, and refining your teaching craft every day.

What We’re Looking For

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Geography or a related subject
  • Strong academic background and subject knowledge
  • The ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently
  • A calm, professional presence and strong organisational skills
  • A clear commitment to becoming a teacher

What Makes This Opportunity Different

  • You’ll be treated as a teacher from day one, not an assistant
  • Work in a school where behaviour systems support teaching, not disrupt it
  • Join a team that values precision, clarity, and academic rigour
  • Benefit from a direct route into teacher training and long-term progression
  • Earn a competitive £28,000+ salary while you develop

If you’re looking for a role where you can step up, take ownership, and grow quickly, this is it.

Send your CV and cover letter to Ryan Holtby at KPI Education today and start building a teaching career that truly goes places.
