We’re looking for a Commercial Graduate. Based at our Head office in Paddington, London, this is a 2 year graduate opportunity designed around a series of assignments in Urenco’s Commercial teams, as well as the option to support wider functions within Head Office.

The purpose of the role is to support the preparation of reports and registers, assist in the delivery of smooth contract management processes, provide research and analysis, and support in project work and continuous improvement delivery when required.

The assignments will include placements in the following teams: Commercial and Market Intelligence, Contract Management and Uranic Purchasing, Advanced Fuels and New Markets. There may also be opportunities for placements in the Transport Planning Team, Group Planning, and Finance.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the preparation of various Commercial Intelligence reports, statements, and KPI’s.
  • Support the preparation of various Market Intelligence reports, the reactor risk register, supplier and utilities financial summaries, news monitoring, and manage the acquisition of consultant reports.
  • Support contract implementation, processing contractual notifications, manage export licenses for uranic material
  • Support the economic analysis of new markets for advanced fuels.
  • Support Commercial project activities, including new software tools development and implementation.
  • Support the management and continuous improvement of the Commercial ISO 9001 certified quality management system.


What do you need to thrive in this role?

  • A degree in a technical or numerical subject
  • Knowledge of the energy or nuclear sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience within analytical post is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written presentation skills.
  • MS Office user, with Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowledge of how to verify data and check for accuracy.
