Role: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, motivated, graduate teaching assistant to join an outstanding high achieving primary school located in the Bromley area.

This is an exciting role to work with pupils across key stages 1 and 2, setting those expectational standards. You will play a big part in helping with students’ development off knowledge giving them confidence and resilience while learning.

The Role:

• To deliver tailored high-impact lessons to prepare students for national curriculum tests in reading, mathematics, and grammar/punctuation/spelling
• Target Intervention
• Creating an encouraging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Make a meaningful impact during pupil’s education

What we look for in a successful candidate:

• Are you energetic, enthusiastic and confident when mentoring pupils?
• Have a strong understanding of key stage 1/2
• Organised and proactive, eager to create fun exciting lessons that will keep the pupils engaged
• 2/1 or higher within any subjects (ideal candidates would have degrees in: psychology, English, education) Or related subjects
• Has a positive, hands-on attitude and is happy to adapt to different needs and situations
• Values diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness
