Social Media Marketing Executive

Location: Bedford (Own Transport Essential)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Onsite

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established retailer for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join their in-house marketing team. This is a hands-on role suited to a creative, organised individual with a passion for fashion, content creation and digital marketing.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will support the planning, creation and delivery of engaging content across multiple social media platforms, while also contributing to email marketing and in-house photography.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms
• Scheduling social posts and email campaigns using Hootsuite
• Designing emails, banners and social assets using Photoshop and Canva
• Managing a busy content schedule (approx. 6 social posts per day and 6 email campaigns per week)
• Taking product and lifestyle photography in an in-house studio, including styling outfits
• Editing and preparing imagery for website, email and social media
• Engaging with a large and active social media following, responding to comments and messages
• Supporting video content, photoshoots, product launches and campaigns
• Keeping social pages visually consistent, engaging and on brand

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience managing social media platforms
• Confident using Hootsuite, Canva & Adobe Photoshop
• Full UK driving licence and car (occasional travel to stores, photoshoots & brand locations)
• Strong photography skills with a good eye for what makes a strong image
• Creative flair with the ability to work at pace
• Comfortable engaging with customers on social media
• Interest in fashion (a genuine passion for clothing is important)
• Must live locally and be happy working fully on-site
