Customer Service Advisor

Location: Membury, Hungerford
Salary: £25,396 – £26,728 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, full-time

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy distribution site based in Membury. This is a full-time position within an established and supportive team, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a background in administration or customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls and process customer orders

• Complete daily stock reconciliation and balance receipts with sales

• Record and account for product movements accurately

• Take payments over the phone and process group orders

• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication

• Update systems and transfer tickets between depots when needed

• Provide cover for colleagues and assist with other office duties when required

• Work one Saturday morning on a rota basis (overtime paid)

About You:

• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role

• Confident handling inbound calls and assisting customers professionally

• Good Excel and general IT skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Able to work well under pressure and manage your own workload

• Awareness of data protection principles

• A positive, team-focused attitude
