MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT | SKELMERSDALE | Up to £45,000 DOE  
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Working Pattern: Permanent, Fully office based

KPI Recruiting has partnered with an established organisation based in the Skelmersdale area, who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their small, but collaborative team of three members.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping finance processes and functions.

You will be…

• Overseeing the efficient completion of daily finance tasks, such as accruals, prepayments, banking activities, and reconciliations
• Managing the Fixed Asset register, including processing depreciation and handling asset disposals when needed.
• Monitoring and maintaining debtor and credit control systems
• Preparing full management accounts from start to finish, including journal postings, data collation, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing existing internal controls and implementing improvements or new processes as required
• Producing and managing cashflow forecasts to support business planning
• Ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met

You will have…

• Qualifications: Fully qualified – essential
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Sage50 – essential
• Industry experience: Prior experience within the construction sector is desirable. A solid background in CIS, VAT, and subcontractor finance management is essential.
