This is a paid, school-based teacher training programme designed for recent graduates or final-year students who are passionate about mathematics and education. You'll work in a well-supported secondary school in Leicester, gaining classroom experience from the very start and achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by July 2026 — all while earning a full salary and avoiding tuition fees.

Candidate Profile - Graduate Trainee Maths Teacher

We are looking for applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • A 2:1 or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject (achieved or predicted)
  • Recently graduated or graduating in 2025 from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university
  • A strong interest in education and a desire to motivate and support students through maths teaching
  • Able to commit to full-time, in-school training from September 2025 to July 2026
  • Already eligible to work in the UK (unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available)
