Reach Truck Driver & Picker

Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm

Salary: £13 - £13.50 per hour, paid weekly whilst temping

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 4pm

On behalf of our Bedford based client, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Reach Truck Driver to join their world class team. Our client operates a well-established distribution business that prioritises safety, efficiency, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate reach trucks to handle goods and materials.
• Load, unload, and store items in designated warehouse locations with precision.
• Perform pre-operational checks and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with inventory management, including picking, packing, and stock replenishment.
• Follow all health, safety, and company guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid and current reach truck license (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks when required.
