Position Overview: Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Start date: September
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours/week, term-time only)
  • Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
  • Salary: Up to £540 per week (dependent on experience)
  • Contract: Long-term until at least July, with potential to extend

Who We’re Looking For: Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • A graduate with a 2:1 or higher, ideally in Core Subjects, Education or  Psychology,
  • Someone who is warm, patient, and proactive
  • A candidate who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development
  • Individuals considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or speech and language therapy will find this role particularly valuable

Your Role Will Involve: Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Supporting children in KS3- KS5, including 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Helping pupils develop core skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation
  • Assisting in delivering a stimulating, play-based curriculum
  • Working closely with teachers and experienced support staff to create an engaging learning environment
  • Gaining hands-on experience and insight into EYFS education best practices
