We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing who lives in Dublin or is willing to relocate to join an established nursing home.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Registered Nurse with active registration on the NMBI.
• Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a nursing home.
• At least 6 years of experience working in a nursing home setting.
• Certificate in leadership or management. 
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a focus on team motivation and continuous professional development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing and social care, tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
• Oversee clinical standards, conduct thorough assessments, and manage care plans to maintain high-quality outcomes.
• Supervise medication administration, conduct audits, and liaise with GPs and pharmacies to ensure compliance with best practices and improve medication management standards.
• Lead and mentor CNMs, nurses, and care assistants, providing ongoing training and development to foster a professional and caring approach among staff.
• Perform regular clinical, environmental, and medication audits, developing and implementing action plans to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Serve as a key contact for residents and families, promptly addressing concerns and supporting aperson-centered care approach, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to enhance the resident experience.
