Location: Qatar – Onshore
Contract Duration: 36-month secondment
Working Pattern: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil & Structural Specialist to play a key role in a high-impact, technically challenging onshore energy infrastructure project. The successful candidate will bring expert-level construction supervision to civil, steel structure, and architectural workstreams, ensuring strict compliance with project sequencing, safety protocols, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide construction and technical oversight for a major CO2 infrastructure project.

• Supervise on-site activities related to civil, structural, and architectural works.

• Monitor contractor performance and ensure alignment with project execution plans.

• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence in all phases of construction.

• Liaise daily with site teams and contractor personnel to address and resolve technical issues.

• Review construction methodologies and support optimisation where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in large-scale construction projects within the Oil & Gas industry.

• Strong familiarity with construction, installation, fabrication, and hook-up procedures.

• Working knowledge of engineering design codes and safety standards.

• Proven experience in onshore or offshore energy project environments.

• Understanding of execution risks in sour gas and LNG facility projects is desirable.

• Highly proficient in written and spoken English.

• Comfortable using standard business and technical software tools.
