Job Title: Piping Designer – Level II
Location: Office-based, Qatar
Contract Type: 1-Year Extendable Secondment Contract
Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off, 9 hours per day (45 hours per week)

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Piping Designer (Level II) to join a major oil and gas engineering project based in Qatar. This is a key role for a technically strong individual with offshore piping design experience and advanced knowledge of both 2D and 3D drafting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver piping design and drafting services in alignment with project scope

• Identify and report any changes to the design or project requirements

• Prepare high-quality engineering drawings and documentation

• Select the most efficient design and layout strategies for both offshore and onshore projects

• Contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a collaborative environment

• Ensure compliance with technical standards and design specifications

Required Experience & Skills:

• 8 to 10 years of piping design experience in the oil and gas industry

• Strong experience with offshore piping design is essential

• Proficient in both 2D and 3D design tools, including:

  • 2D Software: AutoCAD, MicroStation

  • 3D Software: PDS, S3D / PDMS, E3D

  • 3D Review Software: Navisworks, SmartPlant Review (SPR)

• Competent in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Prior experience with E3D is mandatory

• Strong understanding of piping layout principles and design best practices
