Position Summary Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

This full-time, term-time only role is ideal for graduates eager to gain hands-on teaching experience. You’ll support learning activities, contribute to lesson delivery, and play a key role in helping pupils achieve their potential—particularly those with additional learning needs.

Main Responsibilities Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Provide academic assistance to pupils in Year 4 through 1:1 and small group support
• Assist in delivering creative and differentiated lessons tailored to a range of abilities
• Support the emotional and social development of students, including those with SEN
• Collaborate with the class teacher to monitor and promote student progress
• Contribute to classroom organisation and a positive learning atmosphere

Who We’re Looking For Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Degree holders (2:1 or above preferred) in Education, Psychology, or core subjects
• Individuals passionate about working with children in a primary setting
• Strong communicators who are enthusiastic and dependable
• Those with relevant classroom or childcare experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Graduates available to begin either immediately or from September 2025
