Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality compliance. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager and take ownership of technical oversight, resource planning, cost control, and on-site supervision. The role is key to driving operational excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to finalize plans and execution strategies
• Oversee site activities, scheduling manpower, equipment, and materials to meet timelines
• Monitor and report on project progress; identify risks and apply mitigation strategies
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
• Track project budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial objectives are met
• Prepare and maintain key project documentation: contracts, change orders, reports, schedules
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with company and legal standards
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize project outcomes

   

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of engineering/project experience, with 5 years in a relevant project engineering role
• Experience working in the GCC region (minimum 2 years preferred)
• MMUP/UPDA Engineer Registration is required or must be obtainable
• ERP experience, preferably SAP
• Proficient in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
• Solid understanding of construction principles, budgeting, and scheduling
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
