Job Description: Electrician

Location: Frenchie, Scotland & Peterborough, England

Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our team for a significant solar installation project at petrol stations. This project involves the installation of a 160KW solar system with future work opportunities in the pipeline. The successful candidates will be responsible for electrical installations associated with solar panels, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems associated with solar panel installations.
• Work in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the solar installation team to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) passport (SPA Petrol Retail) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in commercial electrical installations, particularly in installing solar panels.
• Demonstrated proficiency in electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Openness to travel and work at multiple sites, with accommodation or extended day rate options available.
• Own tools and van are essential. Fuel and travel costs can be covered.

Contract Details:

• Contract day rate or monthly rate available.
• Running through own Limited Company outside IR35.
