Up to £50k Shift Allowance 12 % for 2 shift and 22 % for 3 shift patterns
2 Shift pattern  - 6.45 - 3 and 4.30pm -12.30apm
3 shift - 7am -3pm  3pm-11pm    11pm- 7am

CDS Recruitment and Training Ltd have a fantastic Engineering manufacturing company that are recruiting Senior Maintenance electricians. The client is based in Sunderland.
A large Automotive Manufacturing company with multiple international operations are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their Assembly Team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery.

The Role and Responsibilities
Candidate for this role will require PLC and electrical maintenance experience and ideally be used to a fast-paced automotive environment.
Create plans to reduce machine downtime.
Ability to manage budgets, improve departmental performance and achieve departmental KPI targets.
Experience of maintaining and interrogating PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Fanuc currently used on site)
Experience of maintaining and interrogating Drive systems (Mitsubishi, ABB & Reliance currently used on site)
Knowledge and Experience
Experience in a maintenance role within a busy manufacturing company ideally Automotive
Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment, and quality management system
Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
HNC or equivalent Qualification in engineering Electrical engineering discipline
