Avionic/ Electrical Technician - Norway (Contract)

Morson are currently looking to recruit Electrical/Avionic Technicians to support the Norwegian All Weather Search and Rescue Helicopter (NAWSARH) on maintenance operations in Norway on long term contract basis.

You will work as part of a maintenance team predominately supporting aircraft maintenance operations in line with the NAWSARH operational flying requirement.

Due to the nature/authorisations of the role applicants will be required to have the following:

• Completed engineering apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a relevant aircraft maintenance role
• The following as highly desirable although not essential:
- GOLDesp experience
- AW101 experience
- Rotary wing line operations/maintenance experience
- Human Factors in Aviation

The following T&Cs will apply.
Location:
Dependant on operational requirements you will be required to work at any of the Forward Operating Bases (FOB’s), Sola, Orland, Banak, Bodo, Rygge or Floro or the Main Support Base (MSB) Kjeller.

Work Routines:
A fixed 45 hour week/52 weeks per year whilst in Norway and will be expected to work 45 hours a week in support of the contract, should the workload allow a lesser working week, a minimum of 37 hours a week must be worked.

Travel / Airfares:
The initial outbound and returning flight at the end of the contract including airport transfers will be funded.
An additional sum of up to £600 may be claimed for the purposes of taking annual leave for every 3 months of support to the operation.

Accommodation and Travel:
UK – During the term of the contract in the UK you will be required to arrange and fund your own accommodation and travel.
Norway – Accommodation shall be funded up to a limit of 20,000 NOK per month.

Hire Car:
The cost of a car for an individual up to a maximum of 3,000 NOK per month will be provided.
