The Role:

  • Full-time, long-term Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Role
  • Family-friendly working hours between 8:15 – 15:30, Mon/Fri
  • Support young learners across various curriculum areas
  • Use your degree in a meaningful way
  • Help develop literacy, numeracy and social skills
  • Earn up to £560 per week
  • Full training and mentoring from experienced primary teachers provided

If you are an enthusiastic recent graduate with a genuine love for working with children and a keen interest in primary education, this role is for you. Relevant teaching or childcare experience is beneficial but not required for this position and full training will be provided to ensure your success as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant.

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons for young learners. You may work 1:1 or in small-groups with pupils who need additional support in reading, writing, mathematics or phonics. You'll help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment whilst developing essential classroom management skills. Training and mentoring will be provided to ensure that you develop your teaching practice whilst utilising your academic background, creativity and passion for primary education.
