SMT Operator

Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary: Up to £30,000 Depending on Experience

Our client, a market leading manufacturer based in St Neots, is seeking a hands-on SMT Operator & Lab Technician to join their dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a collaborative technical environment.

About the Role:

You’ll be involved in a range of tasks within the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production process and laboratory operations. The role offers plenty of scope to learn and develop, working with modern technology and contributing to exciting, innovative projects.

Requirements:

• Strong computer literacy – comfortable working with machines, data, and software
• Practical problem-solving ability and sound common sense
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to learn and grow
• Previous experience in SMT assembly or electronics manufacturing
• Familiarity with Juki SMT technology is highly advantageous
