A leading consultancy with a strong track record in delivering landmark projects across Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Principal/Associate Structural Engineer to join their Leeds office.

With nearly 40 years of presence in the region, this firm has been instrumental in shaping the skyline of towns and cities, delivering projects that range from small community schemes under £1m to multi-billion-pound regeneration programmes.

The Role

• Lead and develop a team of up to 8 engineers and technicians.
• Manage project delivery across a diverse portfolio, ensuring quality, financial performance, and timely completion.
• Play a key role in office strategy, driving innovation and best practice.
• Develop and maintain client and partner networks, contributing to business development.
• Represent the business confidently in client meetings, offering clear and effective design solutions.

About You

• Chartered Engineer (or actively working towards this at Principal Engineer level).
• Experience leading teams on multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Strong project management skills with knowledge of design programmes and project finances.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to inspire and bring out the best in others.
• Collaborative, client-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
