Roofing Technician / Solar Installer

Are you an experienced solar installer or roofer looking to join a high-performance, mission-driven team? We’re seeking a skilled Roofing Technician/Solar Installer to play a key role in delivering top-quality rooftop solar installations across residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes real pride in their work and is excited to help raise the bar for solar installs in the UK.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the rooftop mounting and installation of solar PV systems (tile, slate, flat, metal, integrated roofs)

• Conduct roof assessments and plan safe, efficient installations

• Coordinate with electricians on-site for smooth handovers

• Maintain top standards of finish, alignment, and sealing

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety (Working at Height, PPE, equipment use)

• Represent the company on-site with professionalism

• Assist with stock handling, job kit prep, and warehouse support

• Provide feedback to improve installation processes and best practices

What You’ll Bring:

• Hands-on experience with rooftop solar PV installation

• Knowledge of mounting systems like GSE, K2, Renusol

• CSCS, CITB, PASMA or Working at Height certified

• UK driving licence

• Strong understanding of roofing safety protocols

• A sharp eye for detail, excellent finish, and tidy cable work

• Able to work at height and in all-weather conditions

Bonus Points For:

• Experience on slate, flat-roof or integrated systems

• Team leadership on installs

• IPAF or scaffold experience

• Battery system knowledge or inverter placement

• Comfortable with tablets/job tracking tools
