Venn Group is recruiting on behalf of a reputable and growing construction business based in North Wales for a Grounds Maintenance Operative/Landscaper to join their team. This hands-on role involves maintaining outdoor spaces across residential and construction sites with a company van provided for travel between locations.

Location: Based in North Wales (travel to various sites)
Salary: Approx. £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Benefits: Company van, tools and equipment supplied, uniform and PPE, 25 days holiday

The duties will include:

• Maintaining gardens, communal outdoor areas, and landscaped spaces across developments

• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning, planting, and general grounds upkeep

• Soft landscaping including turf laying and seasonal planting

• Basic hard landscaping tasks such as gravel laying, fencing repairs, and edging

• Ensuring all outdoor areas are safe and presentable for residents and visitors

• Reporting and coordinating routine maintenance with site managers

• Operating garden tools and machinery safely and efficiently

• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience as a gardener, grounds maintenance operative, or landscaper

• Good knowledge of plants, seasonal maintenance, and outdoor care

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule

• Reliable, hard-working, and physically fit for outdoor tasks in all weather conditions

• CSCS card advantageous but not essential
